Founding an AG
To found an AG, legally or notarially certified Articles of Association are necessary. The AG is not a legal entity until it has been registered in the register of companies. The name of the AG is usually taken from the object of the corporation. It must contain the suffix "AG".
The registration, which has to be carried out at the local court (the registrar of companies) responsible for the particular domicile of the company, can only take place when the investments have been paid in accordance with the regulations. With cash contributions, at least one quarter of the nominal amount must be paid. Non-cash contributions, on the other hand, must be paid in full.
